Invitation to Study

Prospective applicants for entry to the P.O. Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel or their agents are requested to submit to the International Department of the University the following documents by mail, e-mail or by fax to obtain an official Letter of Invitation for Studying

• Copy of Certificate of Education with academic record (transcript) including the titles of the subjects and examinations marks (grades), or a reference about current studies for undergraduates attested notarially.
• Copies of Birth Certificate, Passport (the page with photo) or other identity document
• International Student Response Form

The documents in foreign languages listed should be submitted with their translation in Russian enclosed notarially attested.

After examination of the document copies received International Department of the University draws up and issues the Letter of Invitation for Studying to the agent or sends it to the Consulate of the Republic of Belarus to a home country of the applicant where he/she can get a Visa for study purposes (validity of the Visa must be minimum 18 days from the date of arriving in Gomel). Visa for study purposes can also be granted at the national airport in Minsk.

After you have received the Letter of Invitation for Studying

After the receipt of the Letter of Invitation for studying at the P.O.Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel it is necessary for the applicant to duly advise the International Department of the University an exact date and time of his/her arrival in the Republic of Belarus, inform about whether it is necessary to arrange his/her meeting at the airport and also urgently inform about changing of the date of his/her arrival if there is such a case.

If the applicants fail to give this information it will be considered by the University as applicant's refusal of the Invitation to study
